At Least 12 Lifeless After Truck Hits Non secular Procession In Bihar

The PMO introduced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the households of the victims.

Hajipur, Bihar:

Not less than 12 folks, together with girls and kids, have been killed on Sunday evening when a dashing truck hit a non secular procession in Bihar, officers mentioned.

The incident befell round 9 pm in Vaishali district, about 30 kms from the state capital, and native RJD MLA Mukesh Roushan, who had rushed to the spot, mentioned “12 folks died. 9 of them have been killed on the spot. Three others succumbed to accidents whereas being rushed to a hospital.”

Vaishali Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar mentioned, “Not less than 4 of the victims are youngsters. The truck driver, whom we try to drag out of the mangled automobile, may additionally have died”. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s workplace introduced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the households of the victims, and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
