Metallica are again with information of their twelfth studio album: 72 Seasons will probably be launched on April 14, 2023 through the band’s personal Blackened Recordings. The follow-up to 2016’s Hardwired…To Self-Destruct was produced with Greg Fidelman, and it contains the brand new single ‘Lux Æterna’, which is out as we speak alongside a Tim Saccenti-directed video. Discussing the idea behind the album’s title, James Hetfield stated in a press launch: “72 seasons. The primary 18 years of our lives that type our true or false selves.
