Days after heavy rain and floods all however paralysed Bengaluru, a Karnataka Minister has warned that unlawful constructions might be “razed just like the Noida Twin Towers”.

The demolition drive will proceed till the encroachments are cleared, Karnataka Income Minister R Ashoka stated immediately.

The buildings, which have been taller than the Qutub Minar, have been introduced down inside seconds by 3,700 kg of explosives.

“We’ll take motion towards the builders and officers who had granted permissions,” stated Mr Ashoka.

The minister blamed the Congress for clearing plans for buildings close to greater than a dozen lakes.

The drive won’t cease till encroachments are cleared, Mr Bommai stated.
